The scheduling

Eight right answers, and a word is 11 months away

Every answer updates a model of how firmly you hold that particular word. Get it right and the gap grows; get it wrong and it comes back inside the same session. You never choose an interval, and there is nothing to configure.

  1. 1d1
  2. 3d2
  3. 8d3
  4. 19d4
  5. 1mo5
  6. 3mo6
  7. 6mo7
  8. 11mo8
Correct answers along the bottom; the gap before the next review up the side, on a logarithmic scale so the early steps stay visible. Eight right answers and the card is 11 months away.

Getting words in

Start with what you already have

The fastest deck is the one you already keep somewhere. Bring it in whatever shape it is in — nothing is written until you have seen every row.

  1. 01

    Type one word

Word, meaning, done. The first review is already scheduled.

    Quick add
  2. 02

Paste a list or a CSV

Preview every row before it becomes a card. All of it, or none.

    Importing
  3. 03

    Install a catalog unit

A ready-made deck you own outright and can edit like your own.

    The catalog
